Activities in NEPA: Spirited Art Scranton

This week my aunt and I decided we'd like to learn a new skill!  There are so many fun classes available in the area for art, crocheting, knitting, and more!  The class that we took was with a company called Spirited Art Scranton which provided us with all the supplies we needed, smocks, and a wonderful instructor whose first words to us were "In this room, there are no mistakes."  The class was fun and ran about an hour and a half. Occasionally the classes (mine included) are held as fundraisers, the proceeds are donated to "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer".  

The employees encourage all those who attend to bring a snack and their favorite wine if they'd like, but they did warn against accidentally drinking the paint water, which I can only assume has been an all too prevalent mistake.  We had a large class consisting of all ages and I was amazed to see that even though we all had the same instruction, all of our "Magestic Trees" look so much different!
